Guess what? It’s National Hugging Day today!

The National Hugging Day, also known as International Hug Day, or Global Hug Day, is supposed to “encourage people to openly express themselves through hugging”.

Hugging a person, no matter it’s your partner or just a friend, can make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. But aside from making us feel protected and loved, it can also be beneficial to our health.
Researchers find that giving people an affectionate squeeze can do wonders to your health.

Did you know that a 10-second hug can

  • Lower risk of heart disease
  • Fight infection
  • Fight fatigue
  • Boost your immune system
  • Ease depression

Making a different always starts with the little things. Get out there, hug all those people that look like they need some love, and spread good vibes.
